Just fitted a tuning box 2.7CRD. Better fuel consumption also is quite evident. My jeep goes like stink when floored. Normal driving is a dream, she just pulls through the gears no sweat. The throttle response is sharp and very little throttle is needed when cruising. Revs are running lower through all gears.

1) Switch OFF the climate control and radio. (2) Close ALL doors. (3)Turn Ignition key to all dash lights ON position (not as far as start though) (4) Press and hold the accelerator to the floor for 20 seconds. (5)with Accelerator still to the floor, turn the key to the OFF position DONT REMOVE IT YET.

Obviously the lift will eat some of your good fuel consumption so you might as well go the whole hog and fit a tuning box. Loads on Ebay for £80 ish.
05-02-2020, 08:41 PM. Hi All. 2003 WG CRD 2.7 with 722.6 transmission. Fault has been occurring for last several months where on starting the transmission will not shift out of first. Problem was solved by stopping and then re-starting the car and transmission would then function normally.
