Suspension lowering overnight. Hello, I have an LR3 2005. Replaced air compressor, two front air springs shock struts, and suspension valve. However, I see the suspension drops overnight about 1 inch in the front and 1/2 inch in the back. When I start the engine in the morning the vehicle lifts up the front every time.
Once I stopped and turned off the ignition it would reset and do it all over again on the next restart. I researched all TSB's to date and as long as the compressor still runs, the dealers would do the following: Replace the dryer (VUB504700) $97.67. Replace the relay (YWB500220) $10.85.
It was/is a 2008 diesel HSE. Priced at £3800 which seems reasonable. However although it has a full years MOT, it had quite a few advisories including one for corrosion. Looking back through the history it has failed a fair few MOTs, some in quite substantial items including one year where it failed the emissions and had an engine warning

Suspension Issues Due to Faulty Vehicle Height Sensor. The most reported issue linked to the 2005-2009 Land Rover LR3’s air suspension problems is its faulty vehicle height sensor. It may fail, deactivating its air suspension feature. Some owners have shared that the most common sign of sensor failure is an illuminated suspension fault light.
A failing wheel speed sensor will cause various braking system faults including HDC, ABS and TC. A failing compressor or other suspension system component will not trigger a HDC fault. MY12 RRV 4.4 TDV8 AB, +LLAMS, +e-diff, +ACC stop/go. Produce LLAMS for LR/RR, Jeep GC/Dodge Ram. VK2HFG and APRS W1 digi. What can I check? The air suspension warning light comes up and only stays amber. All of the fucntionalities on the car still works except the air suspension. There are no other lights iluminated on the dash. Sometimes it also says "System fault Terrain Response not available" but sometimes not. Thanks Craig

Bodywork (Leaks from the sunroof and around the tailgate) In this brief article we are going to discuss the different Range Rover air suspension issues, what the causes are, and how these issues can be

Check for leaks. Pull fuse 26 and let it sit overnight. Fuse 26 is for the suspension level function. With it removed the truck will not self level and expose the leak to the guilty air spring. The air drier can be replaced for under $100. Maybe worth looking into rather buying a new comp. J.
